21 April 2020 UPDATE

With the announcement of COVID-19 Level 3 coming into effect on Tuesday 28 April, our factory will re-open on this day. While our stores will remain closed until we achieve COVID-19 Level 2 or until we are permitted by the government, we will continue to sell beds online and with manufacturing up and running will be able to deliver new beds within a few days.

Our Factory staff will be briefed on our new policies, breaks will be staggered and they will as normal be working at a distance of over 5 meters from each other.

We will also supply them with PPE and sanitizing stations to keep them and their families safe.

We will resume deliveries from this date in line with the guidelines for COVID-19 Level 3.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support through these uncertain times.

Dear Customers,

As a part of your community, we are taking serious measures to ensure that our people, our customers and business partners are protected from the spread of COVID-19.

First and foremost, we have advised our people to stay at home if they are feeling unwell and to seek medical advice via Healthline or their GP. This is also the same message for our customers and the wider community.

Our stores, head office and factory are open for business as usual, with our teams taking additional steps to ensure everyone’s safety.

Keeping social distance is known to be an effective measure to slow down the spread of COVID-19 so in addition to our precautions around meetings and gatherings noted below, we have asked our people to change how they greet each other.

None of our staff have been overseas in the last month, but we are encouraging staff members who have had any contact with people who have traveled overseas recently to keep us informed as to whether these people begin to show any symptoms and let us know immediately.

While we have always had strict hygiene practices and cleanliness standards across our business, we have implemented additional cleaning and sanitizing regimes in our Stores, our Head Office and our Factory.

We continue to follow the advice from the Ministry of Health which recommends regular hand washing and cleaning as the most important preventive measures we can adopt and have reinforced this with all of our teams.

We have provided our team with guidance and information so they can keep themselves and their families safe and we will continue to update them as the situation unfolds.

These are critical times that call for unusual measures, however we are sure you will understand the steps we have taken to protect the health and safety of our team, customers, communities and our business partners.

We hope that you and your families stay safe and healthy and we appreciate your understanding, patience and continued suppport as we work through these unusual times.
